MacMainFrame 3270 software is provided with each MacMainFrame product.  MacMainFrame 3270 terminal emulation and file transfer software is fully interactive and user friendly, allowing file transfers to be set up in standard Macintosh format, using the mouse and other Macintosh conventions.  A variety of on-line help screeens are available at any time to assist in using MacMainFrame 3270.

  47. When MacMainFrame 3270 is used with Apple's Multifinder, file transfers and other host-related tasks can be performed "in the background," freeing the user to simultaneously run local applications.

  49. MacMainFrame 3270 software also supports a variety of Macintosh functions such as Copy, Copy Table and Paste, which allow the manipulation and movement of Macintosh data to and from a host application.  Light pen support is also provided.

  51. MacMainFrame 3270's terminal emulation software provides 3278/9 terminal emulation.  An IBM status line, which displays operating and status messages from the IBM host, is provided in the terminal emulation screen.  This status line is anchored so that it is always visible on any size screen.

Full 3270 keyboard functionality is supported with MacMainFrame 3270 software.  The Keyboard Mapping feature also allows users to define their own function keys.  A pop-up keyboard map help screen is provided, displaying all the 3270 function key placements and allowing each function key to be invoked by the mouse or the keyboard.
